Following his school days, Lars joined the military where he performed his basic military service for nine months within the Kongelige Livgarde (Royal Guards) an infantry regiment belonging to the Danish army. He wasn't sure if the military service was right for him and he started to look for something else and eventually chose to study biology. In the midst of this already a half year, Anette came home from one of her classes and showed him how skilled she was at juggle after three days. Lars was delighted and wanted to take it on. He dropped out of college and enrolled in juggling schools. He was taught fire breathing and Juggling at this school. After graduation from high school he traveled around Europe with two other friends which included performances on the streets of Paris, Munich, Moscow, Warsaw, and other cities. He was introduced to a kids' circus two years later. He also learned pantomime for children and street theater.
