Alinity Divine
Alinity was included in a lawsuit filed against Twitch. Erik Estavillo is a California Twitch user who has filed the lawsuit against Twitch and sought damages in the amount of $25 million. He claimed that the website exposed him to sexually explicit content by female streamers. Based on court papers discovered by Dexerto the plaintiff who had previously filed suit against Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo and Blizzard Entertainment, submitted an official complaint to the court on June 15 seeking to file a suit, and Twitch was served an official summons on the 19th of June. Estavillo, according to the Santa Clara Superior Court of California complaint is suffering from a variety of medical issues that require him to use internet for entertainment. He also has obsessive compulsive disorder, and sexual dependence. Based on the lawsuit, Twitch makes these issues worse. According to the complaint "the female streamers continue to expose Twitch viewers who want to be entertained by watching people play video games, but instead are confronted with sexually addicting material and content on a regular every day schedule." Alinity did not appear on the list. The complaint seeks relief, it is seeking to ban streamers for life that have broken the Twitch ToS. The $25 million amount is asked for, "to be divided between plaintiff and the other Twitch main Turbo Subscribers" with the remainder being donated to charities.
